Mississippi was like going home

We spent a few short days in the lovely, but humid, town of Oxford Mississippi. If there is one place that we have lived that I would move back to, it would be there. Driving into the town felt like coming home. We spent time with our good frinds, the Carson's, and got to meet their very adorable daughter.
we also got to spend time with the Driggers again. They were kind enough to put us up for the duration of our stay. I don't know what we would do without them. They have always been so good to us and Sherry is the greatest friend ever. We love you, Driggers!! Thank you so much for all you have done for us!!
We enjoyed good food, good company and even got to catch a few good toads.
Keegan, who has thus far been quite afraid of water, took to it like a fish here. We couldn't get him out of the pool. Once he realized that he would float in the tube, he just kicked himself around the pool and had a great time. If nothing else, that made the trip worth it.
The boys had a great time playing outdoors in the grass, something we have not had the luxury of having since we moved to Arizona. Even with the bug bites, they enjoyed every minute of their time there.
Autumn was love by all and the many boys fought over who got to sit by her for meals, movies, playtime, etc. every morning, they would come to me and ask where my teenage girl was. It was quite amusing.
The Driggers, with whom we stayed, had a bunch of chickens and they kids got a kick out of trying to catch them and pet them. We have decided that we need chickens again. They are so easy to maintain and fun to watch.

Autumn got to visit with some of her very good friends, Hannah and Alexander, and has a nice sunburn to show for it. She wouldn't let me take her picture, though.
