Temple Square

We headed for Temple Square where I got many, many compliments on my very green hair.  We even had a lady take a picture of us for her blog to show the St. Patrick's Day traditions in the US!  It was a nice tour and the boys enjoyed seeing everything there was to see.

The boys were really interested in the scale madel of Jeruselum and the story that was being told of Jesus.  They kept going back to it to see where things happened and to hear the story.

Keegan was quite anthralled with the statue of Jesus and all the stars and heavens painted on the walls and ceilings

He also loved going up and down the ramp

And, of course, the escalator

Colin and Zach liked to read the inormation placks on all the prophets.  They were singing "Follow the Prophet" a lot of the time to remember what they already knew about some of the ancient prophets.

Keegan liked all the bibles in all the diferent languages

He was also very interested in the fake grass at the feet of Joseph Smith

We had such a good time visitng family and experiencing the different sites.  We will have to do it again when it is a bit warmer and get to the zoo, aquarium, Lagoon, Thanksgiving Point, the Great Salt Lake and everything else there is to do and see in UT.  Happy Spring Break!!
