Day two, St. Patrick's Day - Discovery Gateway Children's Center

While we had hoped for something more like the Science Center in Seattle, the Children's Center was fun for the boys, even if it was super crowded.  That's what we get for going on St Patrick's Day when admission was free.  It's more geared to the younger kids, but Colin did find a few things that caught his attention.  The boys had fun dressing up in their green shirts and I even wore my green wig - and got lots of compliments!!  The green milk the boys had on their cereal that morning was not very appetizing!

The helicopter on the roof

Magnets

They had the green screen that the newscasters use and it was great!  My hair disappeared as did Keegan's green shirt.  All you can see is my head floating in the flag!

In the helicopter

Climbing the rock wall

Playing in the water - I think Colin and Keegan would have stayed there all day!!

Zach liked playing with the balls and seeing where they would end up after sending them through all the tubes.

Keegan also really enjoyed building with the blocks

A little musical entertainment

Some tilt-the-ball maze

And then we headed out to lunch - green hair and all.
