For our weekly Family Home Evening - the kids' favorite night of the week - we carved pumpkins. Autumn was with her grandma Vallee, so she missed out on the fun. First we made the trek to Winco to pick out the perfect pumpkins. Then we took them home and started the messy process of cutting them open and cleaning them out. Aren't they some good looking pumpkins?
We started by "tracing" the pictures the boys had picked out into the pumpkin skin/Then the boys started on theirs as Parry finished up the tracing on the others.
We're getting there! Lots of patience...not something young boy have!! Colin did so well with is and stuck with it to the end.
I think they turned out pretty well! Aren't we talented?
And they sure do look spooky in the dark!! Way to go boys!!
