Phoenix Zoo

After the family day at the guard, we headed to the Phoenix Zoo, since we had been promising the boys for a while.

What a fun day!! We visited all the animals, the boys got to ride a camel and they have Sting Ray Bay where you can pet sting rays and a shark - the boys loved it!! We had a fabulous visit!

Keegan finally decided he would stick his hand in and touch the stingrays, too. He was so funny when he actually touched one!! They are smooth and soft - just amazing!! He wouldn't even attempt to touch the shark, though!

Little People Farm

They boys had a fun time playing in the Little People Play area - if you look closely, you can see poor Keegan with bandages on both knees. He had gone down a slide in another area of the zoo and landed on his knees - we had the zoo medic clean him up and give him daffy Duck and Snoopy bandaids! They actually stayed on all day, too - amazing!

The boys also enjoyed the farmhouse where they got to pet and brush goats, play in big chicken eggs, see cows, sheep, horses and 'drive' a tractor.

And, of course, we had to get pictures on all the statues of the animals and such.

We had a very fun day and hope to make it back when Grandma Egbert and Autumn come to visit!
