I am beyond sad for the millions of babies that our tax dollars will be helping to kill and for the doctors that still have morals that will not be able to refuse to terminate the life of our unborn, helpless babies because of the law that Obama wants to sign. I am terrified of having someone in power who has never spent a day in the armed forces and whose whole career in politics is summed up with his running for office and yet he will be our commander in chief - would you fly in a plane with a pilot who has never flown before and has never had any training? How is this any different? He is not going to be able to stop the next attack that comes our way. We can not fight or win wars with politicians in charge. How do I explain to my children that we must support our president even though he goes against everything I have been teaching my children thus far in their young lives, morally speaking? How do I explain to them that hard work is what gets you far when all you have to do now is sit at home and take a handout. If you want to eat, you should have to work for it, plain and simple. You know, sometimes life isn't fair and some people get a crappier hand dealt to them than others, but those are our challenges in life to face. God will never give us more than we can handle. We just have to step up to the plate, ask for God's help and deal with it head on. We don't all live the same life, we don't all have the same stuff, the same challenges and we don't all make the same amount of money - Russia tried to equalize all of that and look how well that turned out!
I am going to miss the free speech we have enjoyed thus far, and the freedom of the press, (Obama likes to disavow those who question him - just ask a few newspapers, a newswoman in Florida, a newsroom in Philadelphia and Joe the Plumber) for Obama will surely sign the "Fairness Doctrine". My only hope is that he realizes that the things he says he believes and supports are against what God believes. Obama will have our country in his hands in a few short months. We all need to pray fervently that he will be enlightened to what is truly best for us. We have seen what happens when God is taken out of our country and out of our lives. If we keep going the way we are, much worse than what happened on that tragic day in September of 2001 will come to fruition. God will step aside gracefully, if he is asked. Can you imagine what will happen if he steps away from our nation completely? I just pray that we all come to our senses and invite him back into our government, our schools, our lives and our homes. He is the only one who can save us now.
