My lack of intelligence never ceases to amaze me!!

I thought it would be great fun to get up at 2:30 to head to Walmart in Show Low, with poor Autumn, for the fabulous Black Friday sales! They call it Black Friday for a reason - there is no light in this horrendous tradition!! It is the vilest activity that brings out the darkest parts of people's personalities. We showed up at Walmart at 4am - nuts, I know!! At one point, I thought a fight was going to break out because people decided to start a new line instead of getting in line at the back...it was crazy!! I held on to Autumn and told her, whatever happens, just don't fall down!! People were pushing and shoving, ramming people with their carts and had just gone completely insane!!

We were able to get almost everything on our list except for anything in the electronics department because it was so packed that nobody could move!! We headed on to Kmart for the 3 items we had hidden the day before, and guess what?!? They were still where we hid them!! =) Then it was off to Home Depot for $.99 poinsettias and then back to Walmart to see if the mob had left the electronics department. They had, for the most part, and we were able to get everything else we had wanted - 2 hours after the mad dash!! Amazing...the stupidity of the mob mentality will never cease to dismay me...
